We study in order to get knowledge and lead a respectable life. It is true that our marks are not so important in our practical life, but an educated person is always revered. A filmstar may earn much more than an ordinary school teacher. But it is the teacher who gets more respect.

I see that some people have berated you for asking a seemingly reasonable question. I think what you really intend to ask is "what should people do to earn a living even if they do not have the opportunity to study"..
But this was tinged by that statement that bordered on laziness "I think that study is not important".
Well, count yourself lucky that you have reached the stage where you have the luxury of such a question on your mind.
There are several ways of "acquiring" wealth (good and bad).
People who do not have educational opportunities may enter a life of crime-they make money, but we all know what price they ultimately pay.
On the other hand, if you or anyone else wants to "EARN" a living, now that is an interesting and difficult choice.Your hard work at College will earn you the capability to earn well.
Those who are less priveleged may also work hard and earn their bread. Its just that you have a better chance than others. Dont waste it!
But if you are deeply interested in helping the underpriveleged- try to educate other people, particularly children in your free time.
I think it will be an extremely rewarding experience.

Hi, I agree with you that there are people who have earned millions while they backed out from school. But there are millions who are studying and going a normal way. Why are there not millions who are not studying but still becoming millionaires? Those who became millionaires haven't become overnight, they struggled a lot and had a bit of luck and had a great vision. Education is not mainly for earning money, but it changes our outlook towards everything if you really imbibed it. Education has been considered very valuable and is the only wealth that multiplies as you share with others. Even if other countries, those who did not/could not their education, go back to school at middle age, old age as they realize it's importance.
I am happy you want to help others, if you really want to just few hours a week to educate children who do not have the resources, or motivate their parents to send the children to our government schools, which give free education, or just go to a govt. school and see if you can donate some books to the children who cannot afford. I don't think any of these are expensive ways.

Did you explore any options that 'earn you millions after studying'? Just as you have faith in God and talent, have faith in 'earning after studying a lot' as well. Yes, many earn millions without studying. But its no easy task. If you had asked them when they were 'earning without studying' you would know from them how important its for them to enjoy carefree life of a student. Earning more will bring you more responsibilities, more worries, more tensions and lead you to life of 'earning more without a sec to enjoy'. Eventually, you will have to do that. But why do you worry yourself over that now? You are so lucky to be an engineering student. Besides, your frustration shows you seem to work too hard. Then why such a self-doubt? Don't go a crying! You will be fine! As for those who dont have enough to spend but want to earn, help them explore their talents that they can develop on thier own! I am sure if you do a close and careful observation, you would certainly tap excellent talents in you, and people around you who need help! Best of luck!

Hello,
From what i can tell about you by your question is that you are either really lazy or just plain stupid. You really need to re evaluate yourself if you really want to get an education and actually succeed. Then rule number one is work and gain study skills. There are many different techniques to learning and remembering but studying is part of all learning. You must always review and practice what you are trying to master. You must be accountable for your learning if you really want to succeed. No Joke. Being accountable and stop acting like a victim, and education will cost you unless you have people skills and surround yourself with people of knowledge. Apprenticeship can be free education if you find the right teacher! There is always hope even when your a dumb as-s

We study to gain knowledge and be able to and enjoy and appreciate the good things of life. Study enhances the capacity to earn but is not the sole criterion as hard work and luck also play an important part to be financially successful. For example, Dhirubhai Ambani was not a MBA but He gave both his sons opportunity to acquire management degrees and today they are running their businesses successfully. In spite of having so much wealth he knew the importance of study and knowledge gained through it.

I am teacher in an engineering college.
You are right in one sense. earning is independent of what you have studied. The problem with mankind is that they relate studying and earning. We have cases where some failures have made it to the top while some of the toppers are scraping through.
.
We need to study with the intention of acquiring knowledge.
Knowledge gives us freedom, independence, confidence of handling the situation. You can be a solution provider. Outcome of knowledge is fearlessness. No money can buy the joy that comes out of learning .
Study for the sake of knowledge.

You study so you can write a legible question without spelling or grammar errors to get your point across. Looks like you need to do more studying.
BTW: God won't give you the answers on your tests. Faith doesn't learn. Or ask questions. You do. Religion actually requires no questions. Sounds as if you'd be perfect for the ministry. Spread your ignorance to others.

It's true that some people can make a very successful career without a lot of formal education, but these people are in the minority, and , if you think about it, they have actally studied in their own field to build their own business. Would Bill Gates be as successful if he didn't study about electronics and computers?
You need to study in order to gain experteze in whatever career you choose. Studying other subjects at school may seem pointless, but it teaches you the techniques and disipline of studying, so you can apply it to your own field. You will also be surprised how, in later years, suposedly 'useless' information can be of some value.

I think studying give us long term results which we can count later in life and moreover it help us to fight in difficult and competitive situations. Those who do hardwork but still earn less, this is unfortunately due to their weak educational background. When a person is educated, he or she can find work according to his\her qualification and needs and feels satisfied in it .Education is such treasure once we get a little of it we try to have more of it.
