Matt Clement played for Boston in 2005 when he was hit in the head by a line drive from the bat of Carl Crawford of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.

Come on!, Rich Aurilia played for Cincinnati in 2005 (national league) and therefore could not have been playing against Boston (american).
