I am 29 and during those horrible teen years, I listened to Smashing Pumpkins Landslide whenever I felt alone and misunderstood. To this day when I hear that song, it invokes such powerful emotions. That I almost feel 15 again. What song still does this for you.

for me it would be Big Cyc - Ballada o smutnym skinie, its polish and i heard it when i was young i guess, when my friends were at a bumfire and this kid brought a guitar and started playing and everyone was singing, good times. I even learned it myself how to play that song. This song is a Ballad about a skinhead, its funny and true at the same time since we got lots of skinheads there. This song was made in early 90s i think in 89 but yeah till this day i love this song.
but american would be RHCP - under the bridge, also reminds me of good times i had when i listend to that song

For me, there are several songs that send me right back to special memories from that time.

"Every Rose Has It's Thorn" by: Poison
"November Rain" by: Gun's 'n Roses
"What You Give" by: Tesla
"Black" by: Pearl Jam
"Heartbreak Station" by: Cinderella
"What it Takes" by: Aerosmith

Thats a good start. I could go on, but I will spare you.

I am almost 34, the song that makes me know that I can do it, is Cry Tough by Poison, it wasn't a popular song, it was on their first album Look What the Cat Dragged In.

hard to say. green day "basket case" was the first time i heard something that was mine. not my parents music, not my older family members, it was mine. the thing that the biggest impact on me probably was "sweet dreams" marilyn manson. that kinda started me off to where i am today. the video for that showed me nothing is as it seems.

"joey" by concrete blonde comes to mind. Reminds me of a relationship...
"and sometimes I get a strange pain inside. OH, Joey if you're hurting, so am I"
