If you're a boy and you had no father figure to imitate and learn from, you're left feeling directionless and unsure of how men behave and interact properly with others.

If you're a girl and you had no father figure, you grow up unsure of how male/female relationships work and you may lack self-esteem from believing that you may have been the cause of your father leaving or abandoning you.

It works the same if the mother was absent or not nurturing. Boys need their mothers to learn how to interact with girls. Girls need their mothers to learn how girls interact with the world.

Imagine not knowing how a man, husband, or father should behave? then going out into the world and learning from others. Imagine you being the only one on the block without a father.. missing important things like school activities. I had a father til i was 9, then he left. Can't say that i was messed up. but I was very alone and ashamed that I didn't have a father when all my friends did. That hurts growing up, and knowing your father doesn't care... that's messed up

because they yearn for a father kind, they tend to be harsh and cruel and spoil them. theyre looking for something that could play with them or do things with them thats why they became harsh.
