I am writing a paper about a current environmental issue and I need to find a topic. What do you think is an issue today in our environment?

i think the biggest problem is overpopulation....it results in many other problems.....destruction of land and forrests (and thus the loss of animal life and extinction of some species), lack of adequate water supply, pollution...overpopulation has many scary effects.

New Orleans is still a major environmental issue. However, we don't here much on the news anymore.

I think our polluted oceans, many people eat fish and need fish omegas 3 for health. its hard to live off fish like we used to because of all the mercury in them. also I think it sucks in California because we have to pay sooo much just to eat organic, I think its that way for the rest of USA as well. In France and Europe organic is what they always eat just normally. i would write about how bad the environment has gotten, and how it in turn effects the way we eat. and the impact it has on our health and the Eco system as well. pesticides hurt all of us.

My issue is that it's currently eighteen below zero and the wind is gusting to 38 mph where I am. No global warming on the North Slope of Alaska tonight.
