Harry Reid had said, " I KILLED the Patriot Act."
Then he voted to renew it.
Yet, the key Democrat who led the fight said that Democrats did NOT change the language of the bill. He was very disappointed with his own party.

Politics, the Republicans opposed a similar effort by Clinton called the Anti Terrorism Act. The Democrats are putting on the same act for Bush. They are two wings of the same bird.
