I've often heard the divorce rate is 50% in the US. Where did this statistic come from? Where can I find it?

Here's the website: http://www.divorcereform.org/rates.html

There are many! http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=divorce+rate&fr=yfp-t-501&toggle=1&cop=mss&ei=UTF-8

However, remember this: that doesn't represent EVERYONE equally. If you've had more than one divorce, you're still part of that stat (having been counted twice), and we all know that many people have more than two marriages end in divorce.

One thing's for sure. Marriage is the leading cause of divorce.
