PIRATES!!! Especially Captain Jack Sparrow!

This is a worthy question! Asked and debated for years! Ninjas versus pirates...
First compare,
Both Ninjas and Pirates have a long and noble history and awesome outfits. They are both warriors of sorts and usually outside of society's norms, preferring a life of crime (either against the government or for them against the government's enemies)
Now Contrast
Ninjas are sneaky and skilled in martial arts, they make great spies and above all else, are fabulously attired in neat black jumpers, covering their faces as to not be identified in the rare (or blundering) chance that they are seen and someone lives to tell the tale.
Pirates on the other hand are loud and varying between crude and suave, they usually prefer flashy outfits jewels and other tokens and announce their presence eventually if only to gloat before stealing the booty and killing the witnesses, although some are usually left alive to spread the tale of the Dread Pirate Roberts, or his friend Captain Jack Sparrow.
It is hard, but I have to say, Pirates, just because we just see them enough to admire their wicked ways, Ninjas are just not ready for the limelight yet, but should in no way be discredited as they are a noble group.

I don;t think this belongs in the mythology category, because Pirates and Ninja are both real in the world.
But over all, I never did like Ninja much, anything about them in books or on television, so I choose pirates.

I personally find pirates to be more interesting then ninjas, however, in combat a ninja would defeat a pirate. The training and discipline of the ninja will always conquer the drunken buggery of pirates.

If you are talking hollywood, Pirates have more pazzaz. But in real life historical context, ninjas would have Blackbeards head in a toilet bowl any day of the week no question.
You have to admire thier dedication if not their tactics

I like pirates, ninjas are way too serious. I do prefer katanas over cutlasses however.
