because she will get out of control and thinks ur the one who is

Well, you have to understand that people do change over the course of four year. If you've been feeling this way for over a year now, than I just would end the friendship. Maybe in a few months or even a year, you guys can become friends again. Give her time to grow out of this immature stage.

If she has been your friend for a year even with constant fighting you should still be friends because you might find out you have something in common. I mean how else can you still be friends even if u 2 have constant fights. If she is as immature as you say she is than think of her as your "younger sister".

No need to stop acting like you know each other. But if you do not get along then some time apart may do you good. Just have a friendship where you can say hi what's up as you pas each other.

Friends don't fight...
They love each other
They support each other
They laugh together
They cry together
They go to dinner
They go to the mall
They are honest with each other
They don't purposely hurt each other
They call and check on each other sometimes
These are characteristics of friends.

there's no question about that situation you have nothing in common, you fight all the time. You're already not friends so stop hanging around her.
