This happens especially when I go to Yahoo ... many many files begin to upload ... they upload quickly, but they are always unwanted ads, and it usually takes approximately 3-5 minutes for them to finish loading (usually, there are at least 35 different loads) before I can use Yahoo or IE at all. Also, there doesn't seem to be anywhere to exit the advertisement (no "X" on top right of ad, no "close window" box to click), so the only way to exit is to click the "go back" arrow on top left of IE screen, which begins the downloads all over again! This is driving me nuts, and I want to end it NOW! Please give me some ideas. Thank you.

Unfortunately, it seems that your computer has been infected with adware and/or spyware. These are malicious files which steal information off your computer and add annoying ads. You need a good anti spyware program to remove them. There are several free programs; so, you don't need to spend a dime. The 3 most popular free programs are: Lavasoft's Ad Aware, Spybot Search & Destroy and Microsoft's Windows Defender. You can find all 3 programs at: http://www.filehippo.com/software/antispyware/

Unlike antivirus programs, it is recommend to have more than one anti spyware program. What one program misses another will catch and vice a versa. You can safely install all 3 but just scan with one program at a time. Download the programs and install them. Next, update them and run a scan. If you need instructions on how to use them, go to

I hate to say it, but it sounds like you have a virus of some sort, like a Trojan Horse,or some really bad spyware. Hopefully you have a good Anti-Virus and a adware/spyware program. It's good to have both. I would reboot into safe mode, run both of those (if you have them). After they're done(whether good or bad results), reboot normally, and run them one more time. Thats what I do, and it seems to help alot but there is no guarantee. Good luck

Your computer has an Adware virus on it. You need to disconnect your LAN cable or phone cable from the back of your computer and install an anti-virus program(AVG, Norton, etc). Let it remove all of the viruses before you plug your internet back up.

Hi,

It seems that your system is infected with adwares.
Do a scan with adware removal tools and also use pop up blockers from Google toolbar, yahoo toolbar or Even from Internet explorer.

Use this tool a good one :
