Thay made 26 babies with the same colors on their bodies and tails... could they have breed with a fancy guppy before I had them at home? I have had them for about 4 months.

Yep, I bought them at Pets Mart, they started getting the blue color about 4 days after I brought them home... no it's not mold.

Mollies and guppies have not been recorded as having been cross bred thugh many people still maintain it's possible. Even if they were, the babies would most very likely be sterile. Gol and green are very close together in livebearer genetics and it wouldn't be uncommon at all for a gold fish to have a bit of green coloration or a greenish cast to the gold. The fins are the hardest area to get true coloration, so any flaws are most likely to show up there. You can sontinue to breed the one's with the least green to each other and eventually eliminate most of it if you wanted to, but odds are you could never quite get rid of all of it.

Are you sure they're mollies? The coloring you've described on the adults doesn't sound like mollies. It sounds like guppies.
