99% of gays are democrat; there is a 1% margin of error

Since not all gays share information about their sexual preference, there is no reliability in poll numbers, and any web site claiming to present this information would be suspect.
Many gays have campaigned for Democrats and there is an organization of gay republicans called Log cabin republicans...so I suspect the percentages are similar to the general public.

How would you determine such a statistic? It's a very personal and private matter, one that many people are embarassed to discuss. So I seriously doubt you'll find any gays or lesbians who will admit to being a Republican.
