Go to Google UK and put in a search Frankenstein and the Romantic Era (or Tha Romantics). You will get a myriad of hits. Also, if you are at uni you should have access to inter-university data bases. Also, try the British Library and The Bodlien.
Good Luck!

Frankenstein is all about subverting the natural role of women by creating life outside the womb.Mary Shelley and her parents were great free thinkers of their age.She read all of the important lit texts like the Bible,John MIlton and Shakespeare.Think also about how religon was making way for science in that era.Galvani and his theories of galvanising things into life is important.
