I recently applied for a job at SEARS, I have been through the interview process both with the assistant manager and the store manager, I already took a drug test and I don't know I was just wondering how long it took for those people out there that are currently working out there for SEARS to call you and tell you that you could start working. If so then how did you find the job? (mostly interested in people working in the electronic department)

Pre-employment background and reference checks may take 1 to 3 weeks. This is dependant on their previous and current workload. (The human resources dept, and other agencies are involved) specifically: Credit agencies, sex-offender databases, county and/or state criminal databases. Since you survived several interviews and barring any criminal background you most likely have the job. Just takes a while.
