Find some kids in you grade that have a band and need a singer or even just a friend that plays guitar. If he likes your voice then you have a band.

There will always be people that don't like your voice. If you're decent then there will be people that really like your voice but if you have a couple people backing you up (like a band) then you can feel confident going out and calling yourself a singer.

You're normal! You just came into your voice change perhaps a little earlier than some of the other guys, that's all. You probably grew a whole lot as well, didn't you? Give yourself some time to feel at home in your new, larger size. If you like singing, keep at it! Just don't try and push your voice around, it needs some more time to get solidified. Sing lightly, as if you had only as much energy in your throat like a sigh. the rest of the energy and strength you need for singing comes from your abdomen ( your middle, front and back)
Once you sense that your voice is settled ( and sometimes that can take up to a year after your growth spurt) think about taking singing lessons to help you along.
Keep writing lyrics, that's a double blessing to sing and write, and enjoy yourself without hurting yourself.
Best wishes

The question “Who ought to be the boss?” is like asking
“Who ought to be the tenor in the quartet?”
Obviously, the man who can sing tenor.
