Osgood-Schlatters is generally the result of a growth spurt, not a predictor of one.

I didn't grow past age 15. Generally girls finish growing around 16 or so, so I doubt you will have a problem with becoming too tall. 5'10--you must be gorgeous, but I can understand not wanting to grow any more. I can imagine that your tallness is what got you the knee problem. No fear, though, it's temporary and if you go easy it should clear up once you're all done growing.

Me, I've got femural patella syndrome (and haven't grown since I was diagnosed), a similar disorder that I get to keep for the rest of my life. And I didn't even get to be as tall as you. Ugh.

Can I give you a little advice? Girls your age and height often slouch because they feel self-conscious. Don't! You might as well show off the fact that you have the bone structure of a runway model.

I am assuming you have your period by now. I have heard that once we get our period, we are pretty much done growing, maybe only a few inches then that's it. I would think your done growing. My daughter is 14 and we just went though a whole bunch of tests for her knee problem. She is only 5'5, I am 5'10. Her otho said she growth plates have not "fused" yet, so she still have some growing, but only a few more inches, at best. Enjoy the fact that your 5'10, I did not like it either when i was your age, but now, boy it's fun! The older you get, the guys really "dig" it.
