So I have a really old Dell Inspiron 4150 Laptop. Due to many years of use, the text has rubbed off the keys. I was wondering if there is such thing as a kit I can buy to "replace" the text on the keys. Or, even better, would be if there is a place I can buy new keys for it?

Please link me a website if such thing exists. Also, please don't answer with just a yes or a no. If the answer is no, that is fine but give me some more information about the topic or suggestions as to what I should do.

Please note that it is a laptop keyboard and can not be easily replaced.

thank you mrresearch man for your answer and helpful links. After a bit more research on Ebay, I have found that each key would cost me at lest $2 each. After counting all the bad ones that I have, this would be more costly then I like. If anyone knows a place I can get a discount if I order more then say 5 or 10 please let me know.

Thank you ray. Unfortunately, I can not buy those key "stickers" because laptop keys have many different functions labeled on them.

It would be much easier for you to just buy a new or slightly used keyboard off of ebay.

Other than that you can make little stencils and use some plastic bonding spray paint like Krylon Fusion.

an basic and basic thank you to dodge airborne dirt and dirt buildup is to show your keyboard over and gently faucet on the returned of the keyboard. you would be shocked what number airborne dirt and dirt is caught between keys which would be bumped off this way. I do it to my keyboard each and every now and returned.

You can plug any USB keyboard into your USB port and it will work.
