Do you count a relative's pet as a pet? If you do, I "had" a pet dog that was my aunt's technically since I was born since the dog was there when I was born... Uh... If you don't count my aunt's dog to be a pet, then I had a hamster when I was like... 5 or 6, I think... Was named Furball, due to her awesome skill of curling up into a ball and rolled around. Then we bought another one, I can't remember, but it was a male. Had a few offspring. Anyway...

We got a dog when I was 3 or 4 years old. He was a Springer Spaniel, and I used to ride him like a horse.

we got a family cat when i was 2. cute little calico kitten my mom found in the work parking lto and nobody wanted it. I was SO upset when we had to put her to sleep after 11 happy years.
