I'm writing a report on why I want to be a psychologist. I know it's a personal choice, and people get into it for different reasons, but I feel like I can't word that correctly.

I have the history of Psychology down so far, and it's due tomorrow. Any advice?

Yep! I'm only in ninth grade too. See, I feel the same way you do TJ, the only problem is I can't figure out how to word it.

I'm gonna wait the four hours, and just go ahead and give you the best answer. :)

I have always liked to help people with their problems and I've always been a good friend and helped my friends out and I am a good problem solver. I've also been fascinated with behavior and the brain and what the brain is capible of. It has always made sense to me. But the reason I want to become a Psychologist is because I like to help people with their problems and all of that stuff. I'm I'm only in the 9th grade, but I'm workin it out.

My reason; You are trying to understand that which is in a constant state of flux. i.e. by the time you have finished reading this you no longer will think the same way you thought just a moment ago. The human mind is caught in the continuum that is life. Another thought is how can the mind ever understand it self? Add to that the opportunity you will have to be of benefit to you fellow man. I quite honesty cannot think of a more worthwhile pursuit. Hope this helps, and my best to you in your future.

I want to be one because it's what I feel I'm meant to do. I can think of no other job that would be more satisfying or fulfulling. I mean come on, getting paid, helping others, and doing something I love all in one? It's as good as it gets.

-understanding and analysing people and myself
-explaining people's behaviour and for that I won't get angry or upset and I'll know how to react and change the situation in my favour
