There are people called food stylists who make the food look as appealing as possible using paints and some very unorthodox ingredients, whatever will make it look as pleasing to the eye as possible. I read somwhere that in cereal commercials they use watered down sour cream instead of milk to make it look richer and to prevent sogginess. Nasty.

these people specialize in this. the food is all rubber or plastic, and they use laquer to make it look fresh, juicy and hot. nothing is real. I'm sure some of the fast food tastes like the plastic too.
