Has anyone out there tried colon cleansing and what did you think of it? My friend is trying to convince me to do it with her, but I think it is a scam. All the websites about it want you to pay hundreds of dollars for their colon cleansing "systems." Does anyone know the facts about whether or not this really does anything to remove toxins? Please include links if you have them, thanks!

You are right, it is a scam, a royal scam. Your friend has been watching too many infomercials.

Sludge does not cling to the walls of the colon in the manner of debris in a drain pipe.

Eat a diet with a goodly amount of fiber and you won't need to use laxatives, enemas or other cleansing agents. As for toxins, your liver and kidneys are probably more important in removing them from your body.

Why is your friend trying to convince you to try a colon cleansing? If you don't need it, then why bother? If you feel the need for a cleanse then do it yourself. Do you know what an enema bag is? There are websites that can give you reasonable instruction for using an enema. It's actually very simple. Save the money. Spend it on something you really want. Find a book called Back to Eden. Enemas are described in there.

Why pay a lot of money when you can do this for just pennies?

Take 2 tbls. apple cider vinegar in a glass of water 2-3 times a day to remove toxins. Makes hair and nails grow too. Read the apple cider vinegar website. I do not think you would want to take an enema anyway. ACV has 93 vitamins and minerals. I drink 2-3 gallons of water per day. You would do well with 6-8 glasses per day. I have not had a cold or flu in 3 years since I have been taking these products.

The "Robert Gray Colon Cleansing Program" really helped a lot and took away a lot of problems. It was totally worth it for me. It didn't cost that much. Google it and see what you come up with, I know he has a website and it will tell you where you can buy the products locally.

I take something called Prosit on a daily basis, I take it after work everyday. It is a colon cleanser and a blood purifier. You can find it in the Yahoo Shops: http://shopping.yahoo.com/ search for Prosit. It ia amazing, it cleans out your system, in the first four days of using it, you feel it cleaning you out..

Go to your local mall and find a health food outlet. You'll get all the info you need and probably be out of there under $25
