I am having problems with my upper back, should I be concerned? I know something isn't right. I feel like I want to faint when I lift something slightly heavy or I bend over too much. This happened after I was hit in the back with a door by someone.

Oh boy, at the very least you bruised something. You need to rest up and not do any lifting for a week or so. I'd go to the doctors and see about getting a slip for light duty if your job requires lifting. That is, if they don't fire you for doing so. I'm not saying you should baby yourself when you are hurt, but you definitely should not do anything strenuous when your body is trying to heal. The doc may recommend some type of treatments like hot or cold and an noninflammatory. Take something like Motrin according to directions and make sure you eat something before taking it and drink a lot of water. I'm not a doc, so proceed with caution.

Geez, on second thought you could have a fractured rib or bruised lung, who knows.

yes you should be concern because it is not normal to feel like fainting when lifting slightly heavy stuff or bending over... your back bone might be fractured so better have it check by your doctor.

Pain is always indicative of something wrong.
Stop exerting yourself and give your back time to heal. If it's one of your vertabrae then more needs to be done.
