The class (honors english) is too stressful, but I'm not failing.

What will appear on my transcript or report card? Will it affect my GPA or my chances of getting into a University? The semester started a couple weeks ago so it's too late to drop without penalty.

I am just concerned if I will receive a pernament "F". I do well in my other classes, but it's just this class that gives me WAY too much stress.

You need to speak to your school counselor It's possible that you can go to regular English Class.
But before you do think about why you are feeling stressed. Are you trying to work and go to school? Do you feel that you are not capable? Or are you being lazy. and just do not want to do the work? If you are planning on going to college you need to be prepared for stress, they will not have the sympathy that you will get at High School

You will receive a grade of "W" - meaning withdrew. That is a neutral grade which will not affect your grade point average.

As long as that is the only class you drop and you do not make a pattern of dropping out, it will not affect your chances of being accepted to a university.

It's called a Withdrawal. "W" will appear on your transcript. If anything the university might ask why you withdrew... just tell them that you got a new job or something and that you couldn't juggle both. It doesn't affect your gpa.

I think you should continue in your class. You were obviously put in it because your brain has the capacity to do it. I think it will show up on your transcript, and it shows on your report card your transfer grade to the next class you go to. It's your decision, and I hope this helps you.

if you withdraw from the class your GPA will not be effected is like you have not taken the class, just wasted your money, but if you keep the class and you get bad grade, the grade will reflect on you GPA.
