that looks like a letter t...that the gyn inserts, that gives off hormones...i know there are other ones like that, but i wanna know the name of this particular one, i think it begins with a letter m..thanx

It is the mirena IUD, it is good for 5 years and gives off a hormaone like that in the pill, but it stays in the uterus so there are less side effects, it also helps block the tubes, and like the pill creates a thicker mucus to prevent implantation. The risks are perferation of the uterus, movement of the device and breakthru bleeding. I used it and was very pleased, as well as my sister and 2 friends. Two thumbs up
