I found the following at the Q&A section of the link below. I hope it is what you needed:

How do I remove a bumper sticker from a chrome bumper without scratching or otherwise harming the bumper's finish?

To start, lay a large rag over the sticker and then soak the rag thoroughly with water. Make sure the sopping wet towel is contacting the stickers. Let that set an hour or so and then remove the rag. Use a scrub brush or a plastic ice scraper to carefully remove the paper part of the sticker. When you're done with that, you will only have adhesive residue remaining on the bumper. Now, pat the area dry and then clean the rest of the glue off with any quality adhesive remover such a Goo-Gone. Finally, just wash the bumper and polish as desired. NOTE: A single-edged razor blade can be used, but you must be very careful not to scratch the bumper.

Like the others said, use a hair dryer to heat it up to melt the adhesive, but use caution. If you heat in one area too long you can burn the paint.

Also you can clean up the glue residue with Gumout or rubbing Alcohol (I recommend 91%). But before you do this, test these cleaners to make sure they don't destroy your paint. Spray or apply the cleaner to a white paper towel, not a napkin or tissue, and apply the cleaner to an area of the car that has the same paint as the paint sticker is on, but out of sight. Good place would be the underside of the trunk, the inside of a door, underneath the car, etc.

Doing the above should remove the sticker and any residue, I speak from experience.

Beware, if you are removing a sticker that is been on the car for several years, you might have faded paint around the area that was covered by the sticker. In other words, the paint under the sticker might be darker than the paint of the rest of the car.

I hope this helps...

Just lots of water and elbow grease should do the trick. Keep rubbing at it.

Edit to the guy below me:
IF you do use a razor, make sure to pick at it very easily. It will scratch your paint off very easily.

Get as much of it off as possible, then use the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser for the rest. It won't leave a trace!

I would use a heat gun or a hair dryer set on high to soften the adhesive.
