put toothpicks in it and lay it on top of a glass with the roots going into the glass with water in it...when you get a bit of root growing, plant it in soil in a little pot. It's fun, I've done it myself.....best darn garlic I ever had. Dont leave it in the water long, it'll make your kitchen smell like garlic.

Garlic is a form of bulb of a plant/flower. So in this case, yes you can plant the garlic clove if you'd like. Usually bulbs will require moist fertile soil with daily doses of water. Just keep in mind that when you plant the glove, there is always a chance that it might enter "shock" which could cause the clove to die out.

Good luck! =]

One of my garlic bulbs started sprouting a couple of weeks ago so I just separated the cloves and planted all of the larger ones with about an inch and a half of dirt over them. As of now over half of them are coming up. All I know about harvesting is to pull it when about half of the leaves are brown. Good luck!

yes you can, put it into a cup of water until you have a nice size sprout, then, get a small pot with soil and plant it. water it as needed to keep moist.

When able transfer outside, then you have a garlic plant.
