I watched but don't understand??? Who is ERic Roberts? who is George Dekei and why was he involved in the beginning

That is because they don't want you to understand because if you did they might have to send out the Haitian to go deep on you. Wouldn't that be a great life twist? It is all real and they come to viewers' houses and wipe their minds clear so they forget what they have watched. Hmmm.
Eric Roberts is the man who hired Bennett to run the paper mill as a front for an operation to search out and identify new heroes so that they can be monitored and or eliminated.
George Takei is a Japanese industrialist apparently part of this group and apparently Hiro's father, or not.
It looks like they are heading for the old money conspiracy, something like Highlander where Linderman is the one who must kill the rest of the heroes to be immortal and he pays people off with power and wealth to do his bidding.

George Takai was Heiro's father.
Claires father just sacrificed himself with a bullet gutshot to help her hide deep with the Haitian. The cop and the crazy firstarter are locked up in the "paper factory"

George Takei is Hiro's dad. He apparently is part of the organization that Claire's dad works for.
