My son is a freshamn in high school. He's on the wrestling team as the 275 pounder. He's pretty muscular but he is also really fat. His singlet keeps bothering him and he keeps saying that it is too tight. What do i tell him?

You or him need to get another one. Depends on how you want to handle that part. As far as the wieght, someone needs to advise him on changing his habits and dropping some pounds. He will feel better and live longer. Schools are getting away from teaching things like this so you as th father need to express your concern. If you use buying a new suit as the bargining tool is up to you. He either loses to fit the one he has or buys his own next suit. Just make sure that you help by not having junk food around the house.

I don't know what a singlet is.
I also wrestled, If your talking about a piece of equipment or clothing. Get a bigger one. How serious is this to you and him, Maybe custom measurements and fitting is the issue.

IF your talking about a part of his anatomy, That's easy. NOT everyone is meant to be a ballerina, or tennis player, ect..

ask if he wants to stay in the heavy weight division (that's where his weight puts hI'm where im from no offense meant ) if not he simply needs to work out maybe try running more to drop a few pounds might help but his singlet should be tight as to keep his opponents from grabbing it easily and using it for leverage against him.
