i know you know what i am talking about but for the life of me i can not remember what they are called the insides of mine dropped and it all broke is there some where i can go and get another one i see that there is a code on the back of the one that is broken thank you it is a chevy if that matters

www.keylessride.com has almost every remote ever made..fixed me right up when I needed one for a Jeep Grand Cherokee.

They give the programming instructions free with the remote.

I got one off of ebay. Just makes sure the numbers match. It came with program instructions too and less than half the cost of the dealership.

key fob? they are at your local dealership or a car equipment installer, as long as they program them. The info for the program is in your VIN pre 99 or your manual.

Go to a Chevrolet dealer for a new remote unlock.
