My husband and I have been TTC for four months now. I had my tubes untied 5 mths ago and I am 31 years old. My period came on time (Feb 24th), but only lasted one day. I didn't notice anything different about the flow - only that it just stopped after one day. I have had no spotting, bleeding or discharge of any kind. My periods have always lasted 4 - 5 days and my cycles are always 27 days. I had my annual pap smear one week before my period and it came back normal. My question is...has anyone else found out that they were pregnant after having a period that lasted only one day? I have two other children and I had no bleeding at all in early pregnancy. Because I had my tubes untied there is some concern of tubal pregnancy - so the early I find out that I am pregnant the better chance of catching a tubal pregnancy before it can cause damage.

You can take a pg test but with your history and chance of tubal pregnancy I woould see your dr or at least call the office and ask. This seems like a risky situation and not someting you want to wait on. Good Luck!!

You sound like you need a doctor. No one will be able to tell you for sure..everyone is different. I have had a one day period before and it never turned into a pregnancy.

Take a pregnancy test...If it comes back neg then you probably should talk to your Dr. and have a blood test done to find out either way...Good Luck~
