winthrop pretty much has an at large bid anyway if they get uset in conference tourney. Going 14-0 in conference as well as 25-4 overall puts them in good shape. They are also 27 in AP poll, showing that the coaches have definitely recognized winthrop as a potential favorite come tourney time.

No, I garuntee they can't. Now, as opposed to when George Mason made their run, potential NBA prospects must play at least one year of college ball, and that makes the talent level that much higher. So no, Winthrop won't be able to win a single game at all.

I need to be 100% sure they will even make the tourny. What if they go and get upset early on in the confrence tourny?
