How is it presumed to fit into the theme of the movie?

I think it has a great deal in common with Murphy's Law (what can go wrong, will) and it fits into the theme because things certainly did go wrong.

The chaos theory that he talks about suggests that no one can predict the events of the future. like when he put the drop of water on the womans hand and it rolled in separate directions both times. she could have guessed where it was going to roll but the chaos theory suggests that that was unpredictable. so when he was saying that the park was a victim of the chaos theory he meant that whatever could possibly go wrong, eventually would. so even though they thought they had a perfect system the park eventually collapsed.

Nature finds a way. The Chaos theory is used to explain that tampering with the Dino DNA to make them all females, is not going to work. Nothing in this world is certain and chaos will prevail. Chaos=unexpected.
