Hey guys.

I have verizon and used to have close to unlimited texting ( The one right below it) and last month It was cancelled becuase I received low grades.

I contiued to text all month aware of the fact that it was charging me 10 cents eaach message, now my bill will be roughly 500$ when its normaly 150$.

If I called verizon before my billing cycle was over and asked for them to update my texting would it renew my bill and save me and my parents alot of debt issues? We simply cannot afford this bill and Im disapointed in myself for doing so.

Thanks alot.

now alot of factors play into this though.... if you have been a long time customer of verizon and have paid bills on time and have not got a bunch of courtesy credit.. they could get a package and backdate it.. so basically make it seem as if you had that package and credit your account as if you had that package.. so ex. if you used 1500 text and you had a package of 500 for 5.00 and you went over by 1000 text. 1000* .10= 100.00 of overage.. and there is unl package for 20.00 then they could credit all of the overage but the difference.. so 20 (unl pack.)-5(old pack u paid for)= 15... 100(your overage) - 15 = 85 dollars of credit.... now verizon and cingular is too big of a company to monitor everyone accts to make sure they don't go over so that is why u didn't get a warning text.. only small companies do that..

I don't think that would help.. HOWEVER sometimes a small white lie does help. Call and say that you told the person you spoke to you wanted it started for the NEXT billing cycle.. which would be for March. Just be FIRM and don't take NO for an answer. Ask to speak to a supervisor and most importantly keep it simple. Just stay to -- I called to change my plan, but I told the person I spke to i wanted it started for the NEXT cycle starting in march.. Not this month. I hope it helps... BY THE WAY-- You would only be able to get away with this once. So stop all the texting... seriously-- take this as a lesson learned- Good luck and get to studying... Get those grades UP!! ;)

the provider i work for allows for this, it is encouraged actually. if you go over something by a lot we send you a warning text say call in and change your shite. i work for a smaller provider, rules might be differnt with verizon. worth a shot to see if they can backdate a change before it bill. i say call them.

You should slow down on the texting. I was texting while i was drivin... Yea ended up with a lost right leg and half of my right hand is now gone. Be careful, talk instead of text.

No, once you are charged you are charged. they will not change your features on your bill until the following bill cycle. sorry, but you/your parents will be responsible for the charges
