Created as a broadway musical which ran for several years and plays in semi professional stages all over the country. It is based upon the experience of diana ross and the supremes. The oscar winner played the Florence Ballard part - she was fired when Diana Ross came on board and died young just as Jennifer brilliantly played her. What a voice. Beyonce too, what a voice. And Eddie Murphy - great voice and great performance. Five stars.
