Maybe try the shoe trees that you typically buy for dress shoes. They are great for keeping the creases out of my boyfriend's Kenneth Coles. I'd imagine that you could use the same.

Wear them on the opposite foot. It will take a while but what you will do is actually spread the creases around and it won't be so noticeable in public. At least that's what cousin it does.
