would you stay friends or bring back someone your spouse had an affair with? And if the person was mean to you but you felt like you had no way out would you ignore the meanness or would you take a stand and kick them out of your life despite the possiblity of resentment from your spouse because they were friends before anything happened and they truely cared for each other in a friend way?

To clear this up this was something in my past! I DID kick her a** to the curb after alot of fighting. My hubby and I are still together and finally agree that she was bad news. I put up with way to much, incluiding verbal bashings from her over stupid stuff, and told I was this and that by her because I said "get out". I was just more or less strangthening my point that I was right in doing so and not the only one in the world who wouldn't put up with it and that I did put up with more then I should have! So I am not involved with her and I keep tabs on my hubby's activities like phone and emails.. that I have all passwords for... so that I know he is not trying to play me again! AND for those who want to know... I haven't found ANYTHING to say he is doing anything wrong, not even in the phone bill, for a long time and after some talks we had. All is well and thank you for your input!

No, they committed the ultimate act of betrayal, they are responsible for the consequence. You should not feel on the defensive here, they cheated and hurt you and the only natural and logical thing to do is part ways forever.

If my spouse brought home someone he had an affair with, and then she treated me like crap, I sure as hell wouldn't ignore the meanness. I'd kick BOTH of their sorry butts out. Who cares if your spouse resents you. What he did to you is one of the most absurd things I've heard.
And don't, even for a second, believe that now they're just friends. If you do, you're gonna be in for a lot of pain. Good luck and be strong!

Um, WHAT? What are you a schmuck??

Grow a spine and throw them both out!!!!!!! If you can't, whip your man into shape and get him in line. The "friend" has GOTTA GO.

I'm sorry, but with friends like that....And if my husband had a problem with my attitude toward her I would have to seriously ask if he really wanted to be with me.
