Old is often a relative term, but I tend to think it means..."having experienced life in some form- I say "experienced" because it puts it out of the active tense. Some people never stop experiencing and thus remain "young at heart." :)

Old if you are talking about humans is when someone decides that they are to old to be young anymore. A person is only as old as they feel and I know plenty of young people that are in their 80's

Because "Old" is a relative term, you're left to determine it's
appropriate definition for yourself.
For example:
If your age is 10, "old" is someone over 20.
If your age is 20, "old" is someone over 40.
If your age is 40, "old" is someone over 70.
If your age is.........well, you get the idea.
"Old" has other standards when you're refering to food or objects.
Food is "old" when it will make you sick.
Objects are considered "old" when the grandchild of the original
owner has passed away and died. So, what IS old?

old is more of a state of mind but to me between 35 and 45 is when you start geting old

you are only as old as you think you are, my kids say I'm old because I am in my early thirties, that's not old. with old age comes alot of wisdom

Old is when you can't work, can't sleep because your joints hurt, you can't stay awake cause you got no sleep, you bruise easily, young people can push you around cause there is nothing you can do about it.
