If you had a choice would you rather live around lots of people or lots of animals? In other words do you enjoy the city and the culture it brings or the outdoors and the peace it brings....? I do read every answer....I know you can have a little of both in each, but would like to know what you would prefer to wake up to every day.

Most people do have a choice, it’s just not an easy one. This year for the first time in history the human urban population will exceeded the rural population. Some would suggest we reverse this trend by selective culling of city population.

I will remain in the country, not in isolation but shielded from the great unwashed masses and rampant lowest common denominator culture. A plot of land big enough not to be bothered by your neighbours noise, nature enough to fill it, money enough to enjoy it.

I’ll live in the country, and have a trip to the town when inclined, which will not be often.

Cities would be great if it wasn't’ for all the people there.
Also, it’s frustratingly hard to stalk when surrounded by flashing neon signs.

From a farm in SC:

I grew up in the sticks so I thrive on being in large crowds around many people. I guess from living isolated from my friends so much, I kind of need that social interaction. Maybe one day I'll want to get out of the city and back to my roots, but not anytime soon.

Oh, and just because I lived in the woods, doesnt mean it was any quieter. we had a pond in the field below my house and during the summer, when it would rain, you would literally hear a roar from the water. It was frogs and crickets. I had a friend who spent the night at my house and couldnt sleep because it kept him up all night.

The country is beautiful, but it's crap most of the time. Especially when you live so far out, you can't even get a pizza delivered. I love the city and the convenience it brings.

I used to live in the city, we moved to the country March/06 my wife said to each other that we never want to live in another city again,we have 12 dogs and 8 cats, something that we could never have in the city, we started a chicken farm so that we could have fresh eggs everyday, and it's nice to wake up to the rooster crowing every morning, and hearing the geese honking as they fly overhead all day long, we have a river out back not too far to go for a swim in the summer time, and the fishing is super good.give me the country anytime we love the peace and quite,

Do you suspect aggression is genetic or environmental? it fairly is the two, or a mix of the two. A many times non-aggressive dogs could be badgered via people to the factor of biting, and then learns to regulate that way. - in case you suspect it fairly is genetic, do you suspect human aggression and animal aggression are one in a similar genetically? no longer in my adventure. Darned close to each dogs I incredibly have ever had would chase and kill a small animal (preycontinual), yet I incredibly have basically had a pair that could even evaluate taking on a human. i'd upload a third type....comparable species aggression. maximum of my dogs had preycontinual, and would kill a rabbit or squirrel, yet would not difficulty different dogs. one that I incredibly have now has preycontinual, is very dogs-aggressive in direction of unusual dogs, yet loves all people. I additionally positioned human babies in a diverse type than adults. i think of babies, with their smaller length and unrefined movements, can invite aggression from a dogs that would possibly no longer think of of taking on a human grownup. - Do you suspect that aggression is genetic no count what, however the set off (human vs. animal) could be diverse case via case? (incredibly lots asserting that human vs. animal aggression is a similar gene, the dogs basically chooses which one to show it against) there are in all possibility some risky animals of which it fairly is authentic, yet for many dogs i do no longer think of it incredibly is the case. - Can an animal aggressive dogs be the two human aggressive or do you suspect they're separate subject concerns? I see them as separate subject concerns.

f it weren't for having to earn a living I would much rather live with a lot of animals and spend most of my time outside. Animals are so peaceful, they're not selfish and devious like people. They don't care what you look like, how well you dress, they just want to be loved and respected.
I especially love cats but love all animals.
