I have started reading his books, just wondering what other peoples thoughts are on his novels.

Me!!

I've read "The Empty Chair" and "The Stone Monkey," both of which I thought were excellent! They've made "The Bone Collector" into a movie, of course, and though books almost always turn out better than movies, I wish they would make more of his books into movies--just out of curiosity.

Nevertheless, I will continue being a huge fan of his books, and I've just borrowed two more of his books from the library.

Do you like his books so far?

I like his writing. The way he characterised the people in the books, the method, etc.
I just finished reading The Devil's Teardrop.

He's excellent. His characters are realistic and well developed, his story lines are easy to follow without being too simplistic and he really knows how to grab your attention.

Excellent novelist. His way of making his characters "come alive" is remarkable.
