A person can sit in front of the greatest teacher alive for days and not learn a thing if he doesn't wish to. Teachers can teach, but it's up to the students to learn.
First minute:
Education is important (introductory, kind of)
Second minute:
Teachers can only do so much
Third minute:
It's up to the students to want to learn

"Education is not received." is not true. Webster's translates education as "give instruction, develop mentally and morally, provide with information." So how is it not received? Now, how it is achieved is the question. Achieve means to "gain by work or effort." Education starts even in the womb. Studies show that the fetus responds to its mother's surroundings. Such as music, readings, etc.. When we enter the world we receive education every moment. A baby cries, the parent responds. The baby learned that if it cries someone will come. And on it goes throughout life; how we work that information determines the value of the education to the individual. There is a saying "practice makes perfect." That is not true. It should be "perfect practice makes perfect." For you see, if you are taught wrong, you do wrong, thinking it's right.
Hope this helps for starters.

To receive something is to have something bestowed, conferred, etc. To achieve is to to get or attain by effort; gain; obtain.
You need to elaborate on the differences in these two concepts. Say it, explain it, then say it again.
Do you know how to write a keyhole essay? It would be a good pattern to follow.

if you are seeking an education you cannot just "receive" it. You cant just go into a classroom and expect to remember and understand everything you are taught. Instead you have to work at it by studying and thinking into things - therefore "achieving" your education

haha
ok... recived means given to you, acheived means you do for yourself... (who's the giver? who's the reciever? what means more to you? what will your remember and apply more?)
go with that, because otherwise, I'll be giving rather than you acheiving
