By rewriting important concept, whether if it's math, science, or history onto a notebook. (but no peeking!) Then I make flashcards and memorize everyday. Even though the notebook method might be time consuming at first, it's the most effective and fun way to learn information. It's like telling a story.

I'm basically visual. I need to see things, so the best for me are colorful charts, graphs, etc. I usually write things down in order to remember them. I underline or highlight important concepts, and many times I can remember where those highlights are. In classes or lectures, I take rough notes and then I write them down clearly at home. I know it's time-consuming, but I think it's what works for me.

I just story-tell it out mostly for history, so I know the importance & causes & effects of any event. For science, I go over the reactions outloud. i don't like using flash cards b/c it tempts me to look on the back for the answer when I don't know it. I just review for a bit. Then put my notes away and go over the material out loud.
