My 11 year old son wants to see Ghost Rider. I admit I would also like to see it and have considered taking him. Would this be an appropriate movie for him. I know it is PG-13 but would like some input from anyone who has seen it or have taken their children.

hi im from singapore and i have watched the movie. its ok for a good 11 year old guy. there are a few pop-up scenes but for a guy like that, it should be okay. and the movie is really awesome. =)

Just got home from seeing this movie. In my opinion it is not at all scary for an adult but I wouldn't take my 11 year old nephew to see it. Then again, maybe your son is more mature than my nephew. There is a lot of devil/monster type stuff in it as well as demons. If you son has fears of what it would be like to go to hell then I would definately NOT take him.

for an 11-year old it is perfect...just enough dumb one-liners and boring plot, yea i hated it but they made the movie to draw in kids such as your son...i'm not saying your son is dumb or anything like that i'm just saying that he will love it and i hope you can have a good time as well.

It is not that violent. If he is used to seeing action movies and isn't scared of a few monsters and demons it will be okay.

It is a GOOD MOVIE. I've seen it. Its good for the family to see of all ages. Funny and romatic.
