Hi Lonnie..i have a couple solutions for you...one, sew it. I would use what is called "sinew"..it's waxed thread..comes in different thicknesses. Also, there is a product on the market...it's an Iron-on patch. Perhaps a combination of the two. (with a nice overlay of waterproof spray)The third would be to take it to an upholsterer..but that means $$.

Tonneau Cover Repair Kit

You can purchase various vinyl repair kits from upholsterers or an automotive parts dealer which will work well. However, the tear may pull apart in time due to the stress from always stretching it with usage and weathering . New ones are not too costly, in most cases if it comes to that. You often can just buy the cover replacement and use the same frame.

I've got the same problem with my boat cover. I went to a fabric store and they sold me a snap kit for $29.00, took it home and performed the repair in just a few minutes. This is a lot easier than you may think. Boat covers cost over $400.00 so it was money well spent.

this is not repairable. You could get it stitched at an upholstery shop but it will still look like crap. Contact the manufacturer and find out if they sell the top without the frame, it might be cheap. I got mine at www.truckxpressions.com.
Duck (tape) it and save for a new one. Or, start taking photos of the damage around your home and submit it to your homeowners insurance, if you have enough damage you could make out to get a new one.
