1.Start out with a lunge postition with your arms next to your ears.
2. Begin to lean forward, and when your right/left hand reaches the ground, push off with your leg that is in front.
3. Swing your legs into a rainbow shape and land in a lunge facing the other oppisite way.
Basically it is Hand, Hand, Foot, Foot.
Practice! I've been trying for almost 2 years, and I've almost got it

A cartwheel looks liek this: http://www.gymnasticsrevolution.com/GymInteractive-Floor-Cartwheel.htm
To get a great cartwheel you need: a terrific handstand with zero arching in the back, and flexibility so you can really straddle your legs. So, be stretching often, do many handstands per day (against a wall if you feel more comfy that way), and cartwheels whenever you are in a safe environment to do them. (And don't get suckered into learning them just on one side. It's hard but try to learn them on your 'bad' side too.)

hey, i m tryin out to,but it is kind of difficult to explain how to do a cartwheel,um....lets see how u would explain it,stand w/ ur hands up,go down and kind of twist ur body so that u are sort of in a side ways handstand, then just bring ur legs down,if that really doesn't make sense then go to a pro.,they can teach u a whole lot better than i can explain it,they can even teach u more!
