At my age, I've observed many things, and learned from every one. The most memorable was that assignment I failed to research on my own about...what was it...Being observant. I learned that reading and researching not only allowed me to find the answers on my own, but pick up a few more tasty bits of information on the way!

Observed learning is an example of the learning theory in psychology. Perhaps the most famous example of this division of psychology is the psychologist Bandura and his famous "Bobo doll" experiment. In which he had children observe their parents ruthlessly beat a bobo doll, later the children did the same behavior. They learned this through observation. That's an excellent example of it. In real life, we observe how to eat properly from our parents, and other minute behaviours.

children are excellent examples of observational learning. They watch their parents, family, friends, teachers, etc. and they copy it. If it works for them they continue doing it, if it doesn't work they stop.
1. A child watches her mom cooking dinner. She sees her go through the motions. When the child goes to her room, she reinacts cooking dinner with her toys.

2. A teacher yells at a student and sends him to the office because he threw a paper on the floor. The other student watching will make sure not to do that because he will end up in the office too.

3. A group of children are all playing "go fish". A new child walks over and asks to play although she has nevery played before. They let her watch a few games, and quickly enough she picks up on how to play.

The first man I ever saw die was on a rain slicked night as he hit a concrete barrier with his motor cycle. I learn to not ride fast at night on wet roads. RIP whoever you were

I can tell you a story from the Vedic Literature (the original "how too" books. There was a frog in a well and someone came to him and said "have your Sean the great ocean?" He said "No is it twice the size of my well?" The man said "No" "Is it 5 times the size of my well?" "No" "Is it ten times the size of my well?" "No" and so on.. The moral of the story is one can not understand things as they are by speculative knowledge and using the five senses to ascertain them. If one wants real knowledge, as it is, they should take the knowledge from self realized souls, who have seen the Absolute Truth. If you ould like more info go to harekrishnatemple.c Read Bhagavad Gita As it is By Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada- (a self realized soul) tells everything one needs to know in life how to be happy. What more does one need.
