She wouldn't even let people in uniform wear them to the White House. In the Oval Office they were forced to wear civilian clothes. Also, how did that Travel Gate documents, while not being able to be found for several years, just show up on a table in the White House?

Because she is a liberal...

I would imagine that deep down in her heart she hates everyone that she doesn't perceive as her equal.

Actually she is considered to be incredibly supportive of the military. Military families in New York think she really went out to bat for them (regarding benefits). She is too militaristic for my taste, so I think I can be objective in answering that question. As far as the civilian clothes are concerned, it seems strange to link the two. I never heard of someone saying that insistence on civilian clothes in the Oval Office=HATRED OF THE MILITARY. Maybe someone needs a class in elementary logic. (By the way, I would never vote for Hillary Clinton).

This is because Hillary Clinton lives in a world far from common, everyday people. She's extremely out of touch with the American citizens. If you put that uniform on in the capacity that you are serving this country...and the Commander in Chief...which SHE wants to become...then it's a stupid move on her part, to imply that it isn't good enough to wear to the White House. It has nothing to do with what Bush has ordered them to do. They will do what they signed up to do, and they'd do it for her...just like they've done it for Bush.

As far as Travel Gate goes...there is so much corruption behind the scenes that we don't know about, and never will...it's ridiculous. I just hope our level of corruption is less than some other countries. Power just goes hand in hand with corruption. It stinks, but it's expected to an extent.

Hillary has incredible respect for the military she had no say in en-forcing a dress code. The White House is big, things turn up there all the time.

Ecclesiastes
3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

3:2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

3:3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

3:4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

3:5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

3:6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;

3:7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

3:8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

She doesn't according to the Iraq and afghanistan Veteran of America, an organization that rates the congressional votes of congressmen and senators.

I value their opinions more highly than the opinion of the uninformed.

Read this 9if you are brave enough) and see who actually hates the troops

I didn't know that about the uniforms (and don't believe it) but now that you mention it, it's a good idea.

Perhaps it would send a message that we as a nation are peaceful, intelligent people meaning no harm......

Oh wait, Bush has already sent the message.
