I can't upgrade my 3.02OE-A PSP to ANY form of the 3.03 OE firmwares, help?

I am running 3.02OE-A and whenever i run the oeupdatemaker file when it gets to "Extracting and packing 3.03 firmware..." it won't continue it just keeps on that and the memory stick keeps blinking. It will do this for DAYS if you plug it in to the charger. HELP!!!!

Are you manually perform the update or using the easy installer?

I manually updated it and normally, the whole upgrade process take less than 10 minutes (at least when I did it).

Maybe you should try it on a different memory stick to see if that works.

If you are manually updating, here are some of the pointers I can think of:

1) Make sure the update program you download is not corrupt. You can get it from Dark Alex's site or http://www.psp-hacks.com/.

2) Make sure you follow the instuctions closely.

3) Make sure you get the correct firmsware files (3.03 and 1.50 firmwares), rename them correctly and put in the right folder.
