Like as I know, Betta fights what ever fishes they see, and they look very pretty, I am confusing should I put one in my 20 gallon tank. That's why I am asking.

Bettas are actually quite peaceful fish and only fight between themselves. You can certainly put one betta in with other peaceful community fish about the same size. No problem at all.

I would NOT recommend putting a betta into a community tank with other fish.
Some bettas may get along perfectly fine, but then others are little hellions that will terrorize your other fish. Specially if they have fancy fins.
Also as others have already said... the other fish may nip at the bettas fins. So all in all.. it would just be best to get a seperate tank for a betta to live in. Something no less than 2 gallons minimum.. heated and filtered.

I don't recommend it. We also have a 20 gallon tank and have about 10 community fish in it. My son had a Betta that we decided might be lonely, so we put him into the tank. The other otherwise peaceful fish pecked at it's fins over night and it was dead by morning. It was a very sad sight. Good luck with your fish.

I used to keep a betta with other tropicals. Bettas only go after bettas. When they are with other fish, bettas are more likely to have their fins ripped by other fish. You can get a breeding net and put it in if necessary. If you have several breeding nets you can keep more than one betta in a tank, just leave space between them.

Yes. I have done this. It's okay as long as there is not another betta in there. I also have 20 gallon tank and he's fine. OTHER fish however may chase his fancy tail and try to nip at it.

sure it will be ok except for the actual shown truth that goldfish are chilly water fish and could no longer be in a heated tank. also your goldfish will strengthen to twelve" or extra. you would ought to get an excellent higher tank or dig a pond. also fish do no longer strengthen in effortless words to the size of the tank. they're going to proceed to strengthen no count number what length the tank is. it really is an previous better halves tale. A fantasy. also do no longer placed a Koi in any length tank. Koi are strictly pond animals!!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Yes you can, unless the other fish in the tank don't have long fins and belong to the peaceful/non-aggressive category.
