What does the B. in Susans name stand for? I need ur answer b/c i have a report and speech due tomorrow and I need to no what the B stands for

B stands for Brownell. Susan B. was a Quaker and, believe it or not, there was this family meeting before she walked into that polling place and cast her vote. Her family approved her actions, knowing that she would go to jail and possibly to prison. As it was, the judge refused to let it come to trial because he didn't want to be the one who ruled either for or against the suffragette cause.

Oh, how do I know about the family meeting? Susan B. was a cousin to my great-great grandfather. It's family lore.

Someone mentioned that Susan B. was pro-life. That's incorrect. There was no such label in her era. She was a firm believer in family planning and contraception.

Susan Anthony was a suffragette, she did something for womens voting. I think
