Why would you want to do that? iTunes sucks.

Reinstall iTunes and their other Apple crap that they force you to get, and check the box that says "Make iTunes my defualt media player"

the next time you want to play an audio file, right click it and find "Open With" and you should be able to find a browse command. You should be able to use "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file" and click on iTunes.

Thats the PC way

I have no idea about the mac

when you download Itunes, it already sets as default player so it would ignore windows media player or other music servie...its a no hassle problem that they fixed a year ago
